Calatheas do best in low to medium light levels.
water
Moist, but never wet, soggy conditions. Let top 1"- 2" of soil dry in between watering. Sensitive to minerals in tap water; best to use filtered, rain water or tap water that has set out overnight. Regular potting mix should suit the plant.
level of care
Medium Care: Calatheas can be sensitive: tap water, low humidity and bright light can result in brown edges and stress.
Note: Some of the leaves have mechanical damage and it has presented in yellow green spots. This in no way hurts the plant or wil sure as to new leaves. See last pics for example.
